Thank you to all students who participated in the run and brought in donations. Our class raised $228. It is great to see so many students support their community and the good cause. Without support, cancer research would not be able to make the advances it does. As we discussed in classs, cancer is something that touches most of our lives at one time or another.
We have a box in our classroom to collect food to provide others with a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner. If you have any non-perishable items to donate, please send them in. We are looking for canned goods, such as vegetables and fruits, and well as boxed foods, such as mashed potatoes, rice and pastas. Also, any desert items, like pie filling or cake mixes would also be wonderful.

- What do (parents, teachers, friends, God) expect of you?
- What do you expect of yourself?
We then discussed the following questions and will continue during next class:
- What are expectations?
- How do they arise?
- Are all expectations realistic? Explain.
